Hey guys doing an engine swap for my buddy. He got a 91 crx that were putting a b16a1 in it. were having so many problems trying to figure out what car to tell the parts stores we need parts for. any one know what car the b16a1 dohc vtec engine came out of? Its the JDM engine.

Also will the wheel hubs from an integra fit on the crx?

And the guys at exedy said he ordered the right clutch but it seems to me like theres to much movement between the clutch and the trans axel splines.

i used 91 integra non abs....

if the crx isnt an si get si knuckles you should be fine and take the dust rings off

 

or go to your local junkyard and get the intermediate shaft and knuckles from a DA and just use that setup

make sure its non abs

 

the b sereis axles will fit the crx as long as its not an hf. they have smaller hubs, and remove the dust rings on the inside of the hubs. halfshaft from 90-93 teg will work.

 

and if your getting engine parts say 99-00 civic si. it has a b16a2. axles get them for 90-93 teg.

 

i use 94 del sol b16a parts but yeah you should be fine with what we said
