I'm looking to buy an muffler for a 00 civic.
I'm looking into the thermal r&d. They offer them in 12" 16" and 18".
I'm assuming the 18" would be quieter, however, will the 18" fit on my civic. I don't want to purchase the muffler and it be too long and have to stick it so far out it looks awful. Going for sleeper look.

Sure they aren't. You keep asking about exhausts like it's rocket science and asking questions so far out of left field no one has a chance of 1) answering accurately and 2) answering to your satisfaction. 2 weeks from now you'll be asking about exhausts again.
