ok so i bought my 1st honda recently, 98 Honda cx hatch, and i wanted to know if a 99 civic headers and exhaust would fit on my 98 civic?

 

what motor is it. if its a dseires it will work d series parts are interchangeable

 

As long as the exhaust is from the same trim then yes. 96-00 are all compatible as long as the exhaust is from the same type of car.

i.e. A 1996 catback and header for a hatchback will fit any 96-00 hatch.

The same goes for coupes and sedans.

I believe coupes and sedans share an exhaust, for the hatchbacks most coupe and sedan exhausts are a few inches too long.

 

thanks for the tips. im actually buying the header/catback/ and exhaust off a 99 civic dx coupe so im guessing i have to do a lil work on it since its gonna be a couple of inches too long
