Violent jerking while car in motion
Ok so ive got a b18b1 in a 96 hatch and i took the car out last weekend and when i was in gear at low RPMs the car started to jerk really hard i pushed in the clutch and it stopped. now some people have told me its the clutch/flywheel and others told me no way because its already moving and clutch not engaged. So i need some more input on this. if i shift gears or push in the clutch it stops and only happens at low RPMs 3k-down. i didn't do the swap bought it like this.... and the kid says that it has some sort of stage 2 clutch. but one guy told me its probably a 6 puck because of how much gas i have to give it to take off. it also jerks sometimes when i take off if i don't ride the clutch a little. and yes i do know how to drive stick been doing it for around 5-6 years now. any help will be greatly appreciated.
If you're in 1st or 2nd that should be normal. My Prelude did this and nothing was wrong with it, you can usually mellow the jerking by giving it a little bit of gas
My ek does the same thing.. Only at low RPMs and is worse in bumpy parking lots.. It seems like the clutch isn't grabbing good enough but I want to be sure that is what it is before I buy a new one
