b18b1 swapped into 1991 civic hatch, its not getting spark i went and got a new main relay it didnt work the new one doesnt click does that mean the new one is bad? i also look over at the ecu and it didnt blink any lights and i thought when i turn the key on it will turn on once, any help?!!? please

 

Also i dont here the pump priming could a bad ecu do all this?
the b18a1 ran fine before i swapped the new motor in

 

i tested the fuel pump plug and it has no power, Also the bottom dizzy plug has no power put the top dizzy plug does, What controls these, like i said there is no light blinkinh on my ecu

 

It's possible that the ECU could've gone bad. It has happened to me once. Here's the thread if you want to check it out:

If you don't already have an FSM you should download one and find the section for trouble shooting the ECU (and all else related, ignition, fuel pump, etc just in case it turns out the ECU isn't the problem).

Check your ground on the thermostat housing.

 

I'll check that tonight but I'm sure its on there ill cut back the shething to see is there is a break

You swapped out and A1 to a B1? arent they different OBD's?

 

Yes but that's not the problem people run obd0 on obd2 motors all the time

 

So all the extra sensors on the B1 not being hooked up wouldnt make a difference?

 

There arnt any extras on the motor

 

Look guys im in need of alot of help, The car turns over it has no spark and the fuel pump isnt priming, i replaced the main relay and i tested for power at the plug of the fuel pump and i go no voltage, i have every ground hooked up. what could this be.

 

wat wire harness did you use for the swap..? im putting a ls b18b1 from a 2000 integra into my 90 ef hatch and dont no wat i will need to make it all work.. any info helps..thanks

check all grounds.
had same **** happen to my da integra.
my problem was a grounded out the battery positive to the frame and fried a bunch of wires,,,
hit up a good honda-elctrician.

 

Like I said the three main grounds are good look I need help soon I was told today i have two weeks to fix it or ny dad is having the whole thing junked

Did you try a different ecu yet? different dizzy? people cant just magically diagnose problems till you try the things they suggested then tell us what happened.

been there done that.
get a electrician.
you wont fix it if you dont know how to work with wiring.
