Default Weird Manifold Issues

Hey all, I recently swapped a stock D15B2 into my '90 crx dx, which had no exhaust on it when I bought it.

Soo I went through some Bosal parts on rockauto.com and ordered up basically a complete exhaust (up to the manifold) finally got my front pipe in today, went to fit it up to the manifold and what do you know the flange is too small.

Called up Honda and they said the part I need is no longer produced, told them I had bought exhaust parts up to the manifold, and they told me I would have to get the updated manifold. I've been looking around and I can't find any websites that give detailed info on the two different manifolds.

The manifold that's on it now has a tri-bolt flange, I'm just wondering if maybe somebody at Bosal could have welded on the wrong size flange or if there really is a newly designed manifold for my engine with a smaller flange. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated as this is the only thing holding me up from putting the car on the road!

This is what it looks like now:

But the one I pulled off the old engine we took out looks like this:

Well your trying to match up a stock header (4 into 1) with an aftermarket header (4 into 2 into 1) and you just cant do that. So which piece is on the engine a stock manifold or and aftermarket manifold. You can either get both peices for a stock one or they do sell aftermarket exhaust on ebay if thats what you want, you just cant mix and match the two interchangably.

- You're matching this up with the stock manifold right? Go to either Walker or Maremont sites and check there for the pipe.

just take it to a muffler shop and have them weld like flanges on both sides. i bet it would cost $50. or go to summit racing and buy a weld-it-yourself exhaust coupler.

Hm that sounds like a good idea, but I ended up just buying a new manifold from DNA Motoring for around the same price. Not sure how reputable they are but the price was right, so if anyone's had experience with them lemme know how it went for you!
