the ht search feature isnt as good as it was before. can anybody help out? thanks in advance..

sand it smooth with 1000 and clear it

thanks for the reply

would it matter if i used a regular orbital sander over a dual action sander?

wet sand by hand with 1000, or you can use norton dry ice 1200 on the DA

I would be curious to know if you burn thru if it would really show when you clear, Im goin to be doin one in the near future wet sand with 600-800 and one coat of intercoat and then clear.

Re-clearing a faded carbon hood is as simple as prepping a blend panel when doing a standard collision repair job -- DA sander with interface pad + 800 grit dry.. sand the whole thing, scuff the edges, and re-clear. Anything less involved is ghetto and anything more involved, like wetsanding by hand, etc. is just wasting time and energy.
