Default ***Stolen*** 1998 RED Integra GSR

Last Night my car was stolen in San Lorenzo, CA. This is a stock GSR. Has a dent on the passenger side quarter panel. Windows are tinted. The car had an alarm but it was cut and they left the cut alarm on another car on the driveway. Plates are 4ARM622. If anyone sees anything around this area give me a call at 510-969-9788.

So - is there any such thing as an effective anti-theft system or are we just s.o.l. when the pro's go after it?

if they really want it they will get it,
but there are things such as kill switches, steering locks, relocating battery,
all those things can slow them down and if it takes too long they will leave they need to just get in and out quickly and if you stop that then your good.

man security is a played out topic. if you searched everything needed to secure the car while you had it..you would still own it now. an alarm system is child's play for most jackers. you needed layers and layers of methods to secure it properly. i park my car on the streets and i get break ins..but nobody will take the car unless they have a tow truck. its not possible to keep it 100% safe, but you can provent it from happening sooner.

EDIT: hope you get the car back man. i feel the anger and heart ache. we all have sleepness nights, it was your time.

I am about to upgrade the crappy alarm my teg came with. SInce it has been inside my garage while I get it fixed it has not been a problem. I plan on more than one kill switch, hidden alarm brain, capacitor (in case battery is disconnected) and hidden alarm horn among other things and a paging alarm.
