Master cylinder size, 7/8" good enough?
Hi, I got a 91 crx I just put in a 7/8" master cylinder a few months ago and now I want to upgrade all my brakes. I was going to put the DA rear disc brakes or crx si (whichever I can find), and also do the 11" front conversion using the fastbrakes adapter, VW rotors and DA calipers. I heard you should upgrade to 15/16" at least, but would the 7/8" master cylinder make that big of a difference. It's a street car and I won't go to the track, just want something that will stop sooner and for looks
I don't really want to take off my new master cylinder if I don't have to, I know the pedal will be slightly soft and require more pedal, but how much more? Thanks in advance.

With the 282mm front rotors, most would recommend a 1" bore. The 1" bore has 130% of the area as a 7/8" bore. This means that the pedal travel will be 30% farther with the 7/8" bore MC.
