j30a1 auto trans stuck in fourth gear? has reverse nuetral and park but when you put it in drive any of them its automatically in fourth gear, had the lock up sol checked has the right ohm's and clicks like it should, checked the wires back to the ecu there all right. any ideas??

 

trans fluid looks/smells right also.

 

Manually downshift it? Your tranny might be toasted, real common with these cars and you are most likely out of warranty/recall period.
