How long did your Competition Clutch Stage 5 last you?
I have had one in my street car (All Motor K) for a while now, no problems. I am not on track all of the time, but I have no problems.
CCstage 5, 4puk unsprung and CC lightweight street flywheel almost have 40k miles on mine over the last 3years, daily driven very hard at ~380whp and about 100 passes on 24.5 at ~550whp plus about 20 weekends of street racing a year and still holding strong like the first day i put it in
i did do the 300 mile brake witch iv heard helps a lot.
but iv seen some not even last 10k miles of hard driving so i guess its hit or mas

i had mind for about 20k miles abused at 450whp daily driven and it lasted a long time! When i took it out, there was still lots of meat on it

Clutch got about 1000 street miles on it and 30+ 10 sec passes. Just went out on my on the dyno last night tuning the new setup. I guess it lived a good life?

I have probably 10K plus on mine and in the car two years with 30 or so passes down the track. I have the stage 5 with upgraded pressure plate though.
Mine lasted 2 years in 2 diffrent cars probably 10K miles tops 30 1\4 mile passes before I had to replace the disk. Bad *** clutch and I recommend it.
i didnt even mak it thru tuning.. started slipping around 550whp.. have comp twin now and love it... even for daily driving
I had a CC Stage 5 in my EF. Car was like 21xx with me in it. Made like 500whp. 2 dyno sessions with around 15-16 pulls. And about 2x passes down track including burnouts and a few street pulls. Last event of last year it started slipping. I pulled it out and thier was pieces of the disk missing. I have a CC Twin now for this year. I called CC and they said im right at the limit of that clutch. I say anything more than like 450whp and if ur gonna BEAT it up. Just get a twin.
I had the sprung 4 puck. Two years, 25K miles, and 100+ passes at the track, and mine was still holding up like new when I sold the car. I wasn't making alot of power (304 whp / 274 wtq), but it took everything I threw at it, on the track and street. And I beat the living **** out of it.
Wow, now I'm worried. I got the stage 4 6puck sprung with uprated pp - looking for 500 - 550
They rate it at 250% increase in torque though, what gives??

Yeah at the flywheel. Stage 4 probably won't hold it and sprung is just more stuff to break. I have broken springs before on ACT stuff
I still have mine out of my turbo B series. Easily 20k miles of complete street abuse. Tons of street pulls and probably 30 trips down the track with slicks and drag radials. Never slipped or gave me any problems with power levels between 300-400whp.
Thinking about buying the same clutch for my K series now.

Even at flywheel - assuming torque of say 120lbft stock (conservatively) - 250% increase should hold 420lbft at the flywheel. What am I missing?
Anyway, we'll see what happens when I get there

My first one i got about five years ago great clutch. The other three i broke last year junk. One made dyno time and about 15 passes at the track. And the other two made three passes each. On a comp c spec twin now
How much power & tq were you puttin down for the track passes?
Competition Stage 5 Sprung with upgrade plate here... made 635whp on the dyno with it... very happy with its engagement and simple drivability...
I made 720+hp on mine, not a ton of tq though, lasted over a year of drag racing. bout 100 10ec passes and is now in a daily driven integra for 3 years LOL.
Mine lasted 8k miles and some street abuse and some track times.. i was very disappointed.. damn thing never shifted right either...
Changed to an ACT 6 puc and worked flawlessly
