My YS1 Cable GSR trans is coming to the end of its life. I have a few questions in swapping in my spare b16 hyhdro trans.

1. Will my stage 2 clutchmaster clutch swap over?

2. Other than replacing the linkage, will i need anything else?

3. Whats a YS1 trans worth with a slight grind in second? im thinking like 75 bucks?

Yes, but you'll need to pick up a hydro release/throwout bearing.

Upper transmission mount for whatever vehicle it's in.

At that price i'd be very tempted buy it and have it shipped over here. The bare case is worth about $50 (mostly because you drop hydro guts in them and run them in a cable car) complete i'd say about $300 but it depends on where you are and what people are willing to pay.

 

I think that the cable trans is two bolt and the hydro may be 3 bolt as far as the mount is concerned

Sucks becuase the only good mount i have is a Hasport trans mount....hopefully i can sell it for a good deal with the tranny.
