Waxing Polishing Compounds Suggestions?
I just picked up my 2010 SI fg this saturday and after the whole financing thing was over, it got me thinking of what i should use to protect my paint.
The dealership tried selling me on this R2000 thing, which i didn't go with.
Anyway i digress.
What brands of waxes or polishes do you fellow SI owners recommend. I plan on getting everything ready to do this once the weather turns for the better.
I have used in the past Turtle wax and other brands black magic as well.
Thanks for any input.
I searched and really didn't see much on this..

If you wash & wax often, use a 100% Caranuba Wax.
If you can not wash and wax often, because you live in an apartment/condo, use a synthetic/silicone based product. I like ClearKote Vanilla Moose Wax and Hand Glaze, because it doesn't stain my black plastic, near my wipers.
So, before Winter sets in use a synthetic, because it lasts 6 - 8 weeks.
When Winter is over, use a 100% Caranuba, which lasts 2 - 3 weeks.
Also, using the ClearKote on your plastic/rubber fender liners will last longer than Armour-All.

I'd use a good sealant and follow up with a carnuba. Sealant last for 4+months while a carnuba will last for about 8 weeks give take. Check out autogeek.net just placed a huge order through them
