first off whatsup guys, i finally got back into the world of ef's and im loving it.. my problem is i just recently put a new cable si tranny in the car had a few problems getting it in cause i still have a 1.5 so ended up using a 1.6 clutch and flywheel... so it started up and purred wonderfully last night but as soon as i let the clutch out it dies like its in gear and when i try to put it in gear it only wants to go into first and second.. i did put a shifter out of an ek if that maybe causing part of the problem??? any help will be greatly appreciated....

Is your shift linkage in correctly? Is your cable adjusted properly?

 

got it figured out, wrong shifter/ tranny acted like it wanted to stick in gear until it was drivin a bit... only now i have no spedo
