you can get a JDM gsr transmission With LSD they never came in usdm GSRs.
700 is a little to much for a b18b longblock do you know the millage and year it came out of?
do a compression test On the B18B1, the cylinder pressure must not exceed 199psi or be any lower than 135psi.

Check to see if it'll turn over by hand first off. Try to find out how long it's been sitting there, that'll give you a better idea of what kind of work it would need. 700 is a little steep for JUST the engine, you should get the axles and wiring harness too if they're in good condition, that is if you would need them for whatever you plan on swapping it into.

You can only test for compression if the engine cranks, if not you got bigger problems to worry about.

Yeah 700 just for the motor is steep,a b16 can be had for that.ive seen people get duked with junk yard motors and ive seen others that get lucky and find a great motor.have you tried your local shops to see if you can get one there?

F*** $700 for a junkyard motor, even if it comes with a tranny.
