1994 Honda Accord CEL stays on
Hey guys
So my girlfriend drives a 1994 automatic honda accord with 144k miles on it... and today for some reason the CEL came on. Her car seems as if it's running fine... all fluids look fine and what not. I don't know a whole a lot about cars but I drive a 00 si so I know a little bit about honda motors and what not.... but i'm stumped with this one. I tried resetting the ECU on her car, which if i'm correct, is just to pull the #39 fuse for about 30 seconds and putting it back in, correct? I tried that but still the CEL is on. If anyone has any idea on what it could be I would greatly appreciate any advice.
Thanks alot.

Could be anything under the sun dude. Trying to diagnose a CEL without pulling the code is like trying to solve cancer without knowing where the cancer is originating from. Nearly impossible. Pull the code. The way the computer works, even if you re set the PCM and clear the code, next time you turn the vehicl over if the problem is still there the CEL will illuminate every time. Just in case you dont know how to pull the code its pretty simple:
1) Look under the dash on the passengers side near the door and locate the two wire connector
2)Get a paper clip or something similar and put both ends of the paper clip into each side of the connector to short it out
3) Turn the ignition to the two (II) and look at the CEL flash. Long flashes count for 10 and short for 1.
So if the CEL flashes LONG LONG LONG SHORT SHORT, for example, the code is 32. LONG SHORT SHORT would be 12 etc... Hope that helps
Finally, if there are multiple codes there will be a 3 to 5 second delay between them

CEL code came back 41.... which from what I've read is the "Primary Oxygen Sensor - Heatern Circuit Malfuction".... does that seem right even if the car is still running fine? Like I said, I don't know a whole lot about cars. How much is this to replace and is it easy?
Thanks.
Thanks.
