It also will need new valve stem seals. But when I was driving it, it was smooth. Just I would recommend replacing
the oil pump, main bearings, and new seal kit to be safe. asking: 200 bux

Rings good in the block? Has it been bored and honed? Im not looking for anything I wanna rebuild. I just threw a rod. Looking for something to just bolt on and go so to speak

 

Rings seemed good b4 i swapped, idk bout bored and honed but the cylinder walls looked good. The only reason i took the engine out was cuz i got the car for a good price so had extra $$ to do alot of work on it. It had a blown head gasket, but was still running. Old owner let it sit afterwards.

 

do the cylinder walls still have the cross hatches?

 

i believe it did. i would have to pull it all apart to check again.
