i just put in 55w H3 bulbs in my foglight housing and wired them to my corner lights/instrument lights. on the way home today the corners went out and my 10A fuse got blown. i'm thinking the foglight bulbs are drawing too much power for it to handle. are there any other ways i can wire them to light up when i turn that first "click" without wiring them to my corner lights? i'm a total newb when it comes to wiring stuff up, so please explain in layman's terms oh and i would prefer not to wire it up to a separate switch, just have it turn on when i turn that first click to turn on the parking lights/headlights.

 

Keep it wired the way it is, and try a bigger fuse. Dont know if it will help, just a thought.

 

will i risk blowing out my bulbs(or worse) if i use a bigger fuse, like a 15A or 20A?

15a will be fine.
