Default 95 type r timing issues after head was resurfaced

ok so i just went and had the head planed down .40 and it had been planed once before put the new head gasket on and new timing belt ect. now when i start it it sounds like a major misfire and when you hit the throttle u have to double tap to get it to rev up and then it wont go any further than 5 grand what thickness of headgasket do i need to get to lower the compresion back down or do i need to just retune all the way around since its turbo and sitting with pretty high compression now that the head was planed..somebody please help ??????????????

Being your first post so we make sure it's not stolen, you have to tell us where this 95 type r came from.

Something was probably put back together improperly.

per FSM page 6-30:
Maximum resurface limit is 0.2mm (.008in) based on height of 132.00 mm

if you resurfaced to .4mm you are SOL, new head is in your future. What dipshit shop milled a head beyond spec?

I'm sure the shop was just trying to do better than the suggested .2mm max - hey if .2mm is good, .4mm is twice as good!

recheck your timing marks and make sure its at tdc, best bet if its miled beyond spec is to gut it and find a doner head maybe a b16 if your real low on funds, but you wont have a true itr no more or buy one new for $1,600 like me lol
