The Gaskets around my plugs poped well 3 of them did and created a huge vacume leak, was wondering what types of damages that can do to other things? happened when i was driving, replaced all the gaskets but now when i crank it up there is a loud smacking sound and engine shakes, did i mess up a piston or valves or throw the timing?

 

Did you change the plugs and clean up the wires?

 

Havnt yet waiting on a valve cover bolt to come from the dealer, replaced the gaskets and put the valve cover back on i cranked it and it had a loud smacking noise and engine shook around, its all back off right now and just wanna make sure to check and see if it messed anything else up before i bolt it back up.

 

Where's the "smacking" sound coming from?

 

sounds like driver side close to the timing, dunno if that spark plug got fryed

 

What do you mean popped? Are you talking about the crush ring around the spark plug?
