Default P30-a00 or p30-900

I have a 90hatch with a b16 took it to ref and all my visuals are good but didn't pass running to rich. Took it to smog mechanic and they said it was my ecu supposedly my ecu was chipped.I have a p30-a00 in it right now but was wondering if a p30-900 will work? Can anyone help thanks.

Do you not know if your ECU is chipped or not? Also you might wanna post this in the correct forum. This is the 92-00 forum.

O sorry I forgot to mention it's pretty much a 94 del sol per state ref as for the ecu being chipped the smog place said as for me knowing if it's chipped I always thought it was stock. Smog said I need the same ecu p30-a00 but a shock one. But someone mentioned that a p30-900 would work and just wanted to double check if anyone have info on that.

I am asking you if the ECU is chipped. It sounds like you don't know.

P30-900 wont pass, it's a JDM automatic small case ECU (should also throw a TCS code) The P30-A00 is the one you want, you can cut the jumper wire and run it on stock maps (not sure if that will pass the visual inspection, but it will be running on stock maps then) USDM P30s are very rare these days.
