How much RPM with buddyclub spec 6
hey there,
i am building my new engine and getting together the last parts.
this is what i am doing:
b18c5 with CP pistons and eagle rods
portflow head with buddyclub internals and spec 6 cams
jenvey ITB
i have been searching but i cant find how much RPM these cams will make?
i am planing my interior and thinking about getting a new gauge for RPM because the original one only goes to 9000rpm.
anyone have any experience with these cams and can tell me how much RPM this will make?
anyone have a diagram of a simulair engine?
thanks for everything
greetings

Its not a matter of "how many RPMs" the cams will make, its how much power they will make and to what point. Your best bet is to find a tuner and have him create a basemap for you. Then put it on a dyno and have him tune/do pulls. He will know when and where to let off because it will stop making power at some point, this will answer you question.
yeah i know that. it has to be tuned first du c how much power and untill when it makes it.
i was just wundering if anyone has something simuliar so i maybe get i idea of how far it would go...
i would just like to have the gauge show me were it is. you get what i mean?
i just talked to my tuner. he sas dont care about the rpm. he will make me a shift light. i did not think about this realy before, but he is right saying that you dont really have the time to look at the rpm. just haveing a shift light is enove

Many tuning options allow you to use your check engine light as a shift light. Also after dyno tuning, and finding your peak hp point, you're going to want to shift passed it, to put you back under it in your next shift, so set cut-off ~500 rpm passed peak hp.
