Hi guys, figured I'd take a stab at my first build thread with hopes of getting lots of help from you H-T experts as I go along! I acquired this 94 CX hatch belonging to my deceased brother Brian (known to many of you on here as Turbodcx) he last had the car running mid 10's on a stock Type R with over 25psi before she blew up.
He passed away in Feb. 2007 so everything has been sitting awhile.. he had just picked the car up from being painted and caged so everything was stripped/gutted!!! I have started putting small things back together like the power brake booster, clutch master cylinder, lines (all stainless braided) and pulling the wiring harnesses back through the firewall. Anyway, heres a few pics of this weekends progress as it sits. Motor is at the machine shop now getting a final hone, pics of it coming when I get it back and start building. It has been Darton sleeved, he was preparing for serious boost from the GT42r he had. I'm not going in that direction yet as being new to the Honda game I'm not ready to build, install, tune or maintain such a radical combo and I want to be able to drive it on weekends as a tribute to him at car shows and other events. I've slowly pieced together what I think will make a very decent all-motor platform that should last forever. More details on the motor later...

Sadly, thieves got to a lot of his stuff while he was on life support so as you can see I'm missing many items to assemble the car... still need door panels, ECU, passenger seat, trans, and I'm sure I'm leaving out things.
Looks like a good car. Sorry to hear about your brother man, I look forward to seeing this car come together. Should be a monster.

Yes I've been piecing his motor together for awhile now, I managed to grab the B18C sleeved block and 00 spec Type R head before the thieves got to it. The block is darton sleeved 84mm, with RS Machine slugs for 11.8:1, Scat Forged rods, ACL race bearings and I bought some BC Spec III cams for it (thieves got the type r cams).
I'll get some pics up of all the motor stuff here soon, once I get the block back...

Thanks fellas, really appreciate all the help I get from you guys on here!
With serious luck and other things on my side I hope to have it ready for HyperFest at Summit Point this year, it won't be anywhere close to 10sec ET's tho

Thanks all. I do have one thing to ask- Any ideas where I can pick up all the window molding and the strips that run across the roof in the drain channels?? I'm missing all that...
I want to get the car sealed up as quick as I can.
