Default NEED A LITTLE GUIDENCE.

Now I know this has been discussed befor but I need to make sure I'm clear on things.

Ok the car- 89 hatch Dx. Auto
Motor- D16Z6.

The car has yet to have the dpfi-mpfi done. It's still all 100% stock. I am in the process of pulling out the old motor and trans. I am converting it to 5 speed and swaping the motor for a D16Z6. I seem to have the auto to 5 speed conversion figured out. The whole dpfi-mpfi is still a little confussing. Now my question is, Do I follow the steps for converting dpfi-mpfi if I'm using the stock harness off the D16z6? This harness is already mpfi. All the write ups I find are for converting your dpfi harness to mpfi. As I asked before, do I follow one of these right ups if I already have a mpfi harness? I'm using a P28 ECU out of a 5 speed car. So do I still have to re pin the conector at the ECU? Also if someone could help me on what I need to do to prep the D16Z6 harness for it to work in the car?

you will still need to repin the ecu connector and you will still need to add the other wires into the connector at the for the other injectors.

you dont use the z6 harness you will be using the dpfi harness and adding the needed plugs to it! and if your going obd1 you will need a obd0 to obd1 jumper harness!

Yes im going OBD1 and yes i know i have to use a jumper harness at the ECU. I will also be using the OBD0-OBD1 jumper at the dizzy. Ok, I thought you did use the Z6 harness. What I'm trying to avoid is cutting, splicing and adding wires to the Dx harness. I also have a stock Si/Hf harness. If I used that with the OBD0-OBD1 ECU jumper harness, would I still have to cut, splice or add wires at the ECU?
