I really dont mind the manual rack so much but is there another car I can swap out for with a quicker ratio than my dx sedan?

The SI rack is slightly quicker than the DX.

other than that, quaife makes a quick ratio upgrade, but it only works in the DX rack, and not the SI.

likely at the end of the day, if you really care about it, the best bang for your buck would be to just go to the quaife upgrade. a yard would probably charge you 75-100 for the whole rack. if you have to pull it at the yard, i would be buying the quaife updgrade to save my sanity.
