using a switch for ecu pin connector
I have a 90 crx si w/mini-me
I know when you adjust your timing you have to jump the ecu connector in the passenger side kick panel. I just got an MSD SCI and also an msd timing adjuster. It's going to allow me to adjust my timing from the driver's seat via a ****. I was thinking of splicing into the 2 wires that go to the ecu connector and running a switch next to the MSD ****. Then any time I want to mess with my timing I would just flip the switch then turn the **** to advance or retard.
what do you guys think of my idea? will it work?

im not familiar with the msd timing adjuster but , bro it sounds pretty kool to me, just how do u know what u set your timing to when u move the ****?
I've thought about that. I guess I really wouldn't know what the timing was actually set at. Just would have to go by my butt dyno or maybe a GTECH and listen for pinging. Or I could always carry my timing light with me
