Car drove fine for 3-4k miles since rebuild, just needed a retune. All of the sudden one day it shut off while I was driving on the Highway. Started right back up, and it drives but just stalls after 2500rpm.

Went to go get the car tuned at a local shop, and the tuner said the car needed a new distributor.

Put in a different distributor, then started the car, starts with no problem, but when you get to 2500rpms the car just shuts off.

Any one have any idea what it can be.

I remember seeing this same problem on someones car a while ago. I think they changed the main relay and fuel pump after they already did a new distributor also maybe fuel filter?
