recaro replica seats opinion!
i was looking for some bucket seats for my ek hatch. just wondering if anyone has the red recaro replica seats. and do they last?fade?rip? etc... easily. i know they are pretty inexpensive. but are they worth it or should i just keep saving for the real recaro seats. the thing is that im only looking for the driver side recaro seat but no one sells just one seat. so im looking into buying a replica seat. just dont want to buy it then regret it cuz of its its quality. any imput will be greatly appreciate it.
one, this is a build forum.
two, one of my friends has a pair and he hasnt had them very long but he really likes them. i can ask him about the quality more and what he thinks and get back to you.

for what i can see on some of the pics of the replicas. they look really clean but the material looks like it wrinkles easily and fades easily. but since iv never seen some in person i cant tell. it would be nice if they made them out of the same material they make recaros just without the logo.
I love mine. And so does everyone who rides in them. They are really comfortable. They hold me in pretty tight. My car is garage kept, so I don't worry about fading. The material it is made out of doesn't wrinkle very easy. It feels the same type of material as my ITR door panels. The reclining is a little wobblely if I bounce back and fourth, but it doesn't bother me. I don't Auto-X, so I don't have to worry too much about safety. I don't care what anyone has to say. I love them, and so does everyone I know. NR-G Type-R Replicas btw. $440 installed for both.

The safety aspect is concerning auto crossing it is mainly concerning accidents. The seats don't have to pass any kind of safety testing so in a accident they will fall apart. And being that the seat is one of the main pieces of safelty equipment in your car i don't think I'd go cheap there.

i checked out the yonaka seats. they look very similar to the stock jdm itr seats. even on the pic is looks just like them. the ebay add says they are made of sythetic suade. they look nice
Yeah I sit in them all the time. I drive it at least 5-10 miles every other day, and have made a couple 150+ mile trips in them.
I do like the Yonaka's better. They seem like a better replica and are made better than the NR-G. I just couldn't pass up the deal I got.
