Default help with mini me swap please..y7/y8

Hi, I currently did a mini me swap and I am having some trouble with my car. Its a 96 civic cx with a d16y7 block and a d16y8 head, intake manifold, and y8 throttle body. I have a p28 ecu chipped with a d16z6 basemap from ha motorsports. Im using a y8 intake manifold gasket, y8 headgasket, y8 timing belt with the y8 cam gear. Timing was set correctly on the timing belt and the distributor(y7) was set like it was on my oem set-up. I converted to the 2 wire iacv set-up and did the proper wire switch on the ecu and also wired in vtec. Im using the y8 injectors as well. Now everything is hooked up properly and all the vacumm lines are hooked up with all new hoses. The car starts perfect on the first crank, idles perfect but will not go past 1800 rpms for some reason. If i try it will just try to stall. It will idle for days perfect and anything under 1800rpms if perfect too. No check engine lights either. So if anyone has an idea as to what the problem might be, please let me know.

Thank you

Why are you running a P28 with a Z6 map?

What map should I be running? Wouldn't a z6 map get me by while I got it tuned?

Why are you running a P28? Why are you not running the P2P for the Y8?

OBD1 and 2 distributors are electronically similar and will work vice versa with OBD1/2 ECU with no problem.

Also make sure that you don't have the MAP and TPS plugs swapped around although I doubt thats the problem.

I want to run obd1 thats why I'm using the p28. The y7 dizzy works no problem with the p28 since the y8 head is also obd2. The tps and map are correct and I'm running 1 o2 sensor(primary). It starts first crank and revs to around 1600-2000rpms and won't go past that. I'm thinking its the z6 map that isn't allowing me to do so but it should work no problem. It's getting fuel and even if the distributor timing was off by a little I would still be able to rev past 2k?

Did you check this? Past that I'm still saying it's the map. Maybe if you had a P2P or even a P2E to test.

The tps and map sensor are plugged in correctly. I'm starting to think it's the z6 basemap. What basemap should I burn? I'm All out of ideas

Running on a basemap is not a good idea. I say just go get it tuned. Who did the basemap?

Have you check fuel pressure? It may have enough pressure to start the car but once you start getting into higher rpms they may not be enough.

The basemap was done at hamotorsports when I bought the chipped p28 from them. I can't see it being the fuel pressure, nothing fuel vise was altered except the bigger y8 injectors and a new fuel filter.

I switched out the tsp and it's still the same. I'm going to give a new map a try and see what happens I guess.

Now I'm not 100% sure on the crank position sensor. When converting to obd1 from obd2, do I need to unplug the crank position sensor or alter it in anyway? Or does the obd1 not look for that sensor just like the d
Secondary o2.

So I've tried three different basemaps from 3 different tuners and still none of them let my rev past ~2500rpms. I've changed the Intake mani gasket, throttle body gasket thinking I had a vac leak somewhere and it wasn't that. I did get a code for the map sensor so I changed that and that went away. It starts, idles perfect but still won't let me rev it. I put my stock y7 injectors in thinking I was dumping too much fuel but that didn't change anything.

On a side note, my fuel pump wines louder then it did before now? Idk why?

So I'm stuck on ideas now?
