Ok so I'm painting my hatch in a few days and was wondering if I can remove the windshield molding wih out removing the windshield and would this cause possible leaks in the mean time? Same question for the hatch glass.

Front glass is a replacement back glass is oem

Any good input is appreciated

I know that the seal that the glass tech put on went all the way around the front glass but don't know if I remove the molding it will cause possible problems

 

Some one has to know
