will these pistons fit my Si block ??
whats up guys,
my piston rings are shot in my bone stock Si motor. Im considering putting in 13010-PCT-000 pistons from a Type R. Will these go right into my block without any modifications or what must i do to make this work in my B16 (2000 si usdm) motor ?? any info would be greatly appreciated Thanks !!!

They will fit, but waste of time imo.....
The dones are so high, you never get a clean burn with them. Why not ditch the B16 and just upgrade to a lager engine that makes more power?

I'd like to recommend using oversized pistons (81.5mm), which means you will need to bore out the block. It is much much better to do this (unless the engine has FRM).
In any event, make sure you do everything right the first time, seat the rings, and break it in. Also, might want to consider midgrade or even 92-93 octane fuel since the stock ECU isn't programmed for the higher compression pistons.

Running compression of 0.2:1 higher will not really make any difference. If you wanted to be correct about it, the OP could just buy a jdm P30 ecu
I would love to run these since i do have a built head on the side until later but if it is easier to just buy the oem b16 pistons then i might just go that route but do you rexcomend the p30s more ?? Let me know some options are choices that you could give me thanks man!!
