1991 crx zc swap issue
ok i have a 1991 honda crx hf with a what i believe to be a poorly done swap (bought it this way) when im driving at low rpms it cuts out and wants to die. If i keep it reved higher its fine. I bought a new throddle body position sensor but havent gotten it in yet i know its running rich and flooding out even in the morning sometimes it takes like 2 minutes of craking before it will start could it be the ecu or someting internal with the motor let me know what you think it would be a great help
the check engine light come on sometime when i egine brake or just let off in 5th and 4th gear and just let it slow down not sure on the ecu ill look where on the ecu will it tell me what it is
Also how do you know you're running rich? Do you have blue smoke coming out of the tail pipe? What about checking your plugs for black soot?
ok i got my throddle body position sensor and put it on and fixed my problem but i noticed that it has adjustable screw slots so is that to richen and lean it out if i move it around i set it in the middle and its working good not perfect still a tiny stutter at low low rpms so if you could tell me what that would do it would be great.
