I did a search but didn't find much info.

I just recently bought a complete rear disc EM1 swap for my 98 EX and it has the 13 mm rear sway bar that doesn't require a rear sub frame brace when installed.

My question is, does anybody know of a front strut bar that is about 22 mm or so that will work with the Ground Control top hats? I was going to try to get the EM1 strut bar that wouldn't work with the top hats on.

 

how about an oem SI/gsr strutbar? mine fit fine

OP I'm pretty sure your EX is stock w/a 22mm front sway bar.

If your looking for a strut tower I'd stick w/Ohsnapz advice. OEM FTW

 

Ok cool I was just trying to make sure that em1/ 99-00 Si's front strut tower bars would work, because I thought the design would go over where the top hats were.

 

Crap I see what you mean now. Yeah you might need to find one that doesnt do that. Something like the pwjdm 3pt would work.

 

Yes I have been looking at those but wouldn't that be way too thick of a strut tower bar to work with the 13 mm rear sway bar? Correct me if I'm wrong, I just wanna make sure the vehicle handles right.

 

Strut tower bar hardly do a difference. It won't ill effect your 13mm rear sway bar in anyway.
