OK, I have a friend with a JDM EP3 Civic Type R in Hongkong - this car was imported from UK to hongkong. Its the real deal - red carpets, seats, badazz engine etc.

Anyways, his front balljoints are worn and needs replaced. Parts are not easily available and his source is saying each balljoint is $400 US.

I am thinking the balljoint is probably the same as the EP3 SI's sold here in the USA, but don't know how to confirm it.

Anyone have intimate knowledge on differences in suspension between the USDM SI and JDM cars?

I am hoping to buy him a set from here and ship it to him.

Heck I even found some Buddy Club ones here and could order and ship this to him...

I'd purchase parts made for the DC5R instead, they are more similar than the EP3 counterparts you'll find in the US.
