Default Pics of my 10pt cage from Dynamic Performance

I've been out of the scene for a while and want to start racing again. I want to race in the competitive SFWD class and just want to have fun. The safety rules are strict now and a good friend of mine, Tim Grey of TGR, referred me to these guys to get my cage done.

It was a 3 week turn around time. Great quality work, fair price and just passed NHRA cert this past Tuesday! I decided to have a couple more things done to it while it was there.
Within those three and a half weeks they were able to wire up my terminals, power switch, battery box and got started on the up pipe!

Hope to see you guys at Honda Day soon! Can't wait to be back at the track!!!

Thank you Allan and Rolando for your hard work on the car! They are def. a bunch of great guys. They went beyond my expectations!!!

Bob Nixon from NHRA is pretty strict when it comes to certifying a cage. He passed people a year a two ago about the D-Bars not in correctly, however Bob let them know it needs to get re-done the next time they come for a cert. I know for a fact that Allan was in contact with Bob while he was doing my cage to make sure the D-Bars are correct.

Yea, "technically" the rulebook says that the crossmember needs to go from rocker to rocker and not touch or contact the main hoop, and the "D" bars go from the main hoop to the crossmember. The way its done, the D bars do nothing but slightly triangulate the main hoop. They dont actually provide any lateral support like they are designed to.

But it seems that everyone has their own interpretation of what a rocker/sill crossmember is, and it seems that NHRA inspectors will certify anything. So it really wont be an issue. I dont even know why they changed the rules.
