Has anyone attempted this? What are your opinions, and how difficult is installation?

I was wondering because keeping current gas mileage would be nice, but with the little acceleration, and the B20 has a nice torque range.

you can put different values for all of the tranny parts

some hardcore people have used your ls fd (im guessing its 4.282) and did the ats close ratio gear set.
that should give you an awesome setup

what kind of jdm final drive do you mean. If your talking about the jdm itr 4.78 it won't work

 

I won't work, ring gear has wrong bolt pattern. However, an ATS FD for a Civic will work nicely .
