ok i am trying to install this clamp (78415-SK7-A02), it goes to the speedo cable where it connects to the tranny to keep the speedo from popping out.

im just not sure how to install it. can somebody please help??

 

That is actually the clip that bolts to the firewall to hold the speedo cable. The clip you are looking for is gold colored and is a half circle shape with a bulge on one side. For the gold one you just slide it into the groove .

also what groove are you talking about?? does this still apply if im using a hydro tranny instead of cable tranny? because im not sure where this groove is
