Default My DB1 bulid

sup guys, to start off this is my first major bulid. I have a 91 integra 4door, 5spd, just the shell front end is gone, has really nothing. I had a wrecked 2dr so i thought i'd use its good parts on my 4dr. here is where i'm at so far, took me about 3 months atm.

this is when i first bought it. bout 300$

this is when i brought it to my gf's dads shop and starting to work on it.

i painted engine bay and started to lay out my harness and brake lines.

I deleted the abs on the car.

i had a good obd1 distributor, but a obd0 harness so i hardwired the male ends of the obd1 to the obd0 harness. cheaper then buying a new distributor.

My stock motor that is going in. cleaned it up a lil for now.

here's the front end i attached by self tapping screws to get it allinged.

now that was done i threw the motor in and put the bumper and fenders on to see where i was at.

Here's my ugly headlights, put em on to see where i was at and getting everything aligned.

Starting to put the interior in, i had to buy carpet and rear seats at junk yard that ran me 80 for the carpet and seats mint i think.

i had to make a obd0 to obd1 jumper since i didnt have the money to buy one. i used a pr4 obd0 ecu female plugs, obd1 male plugs, soldered them together. I used this website as a reference http://www.boosted.org/ecu/COMPLETE.txt

here is when i brought to my house to finish it, got the hood on.

well this is were i'm at, i took my headlights apart and blacked em out, took the pink outta my tail lights, painted my front bumper and put my lip on it, sorry don't have pics on all of that step by step. i put gs wheels on it and painted em black. still more to come and to do ha. i'm on month 3 it now runs lol. thanks for looking.

Great progress. Youve made me realize that I should just make my own jumper harness too instead of buying one for 75 bucks (im pretty good with wiring). Keep up the good work deff moving quick!

where i'm at is, i just installed some bumper fogs also took off my tb,iacv, and the one undernieth the tb forgot the name, cleaned em up really good. just installed em today, no more idle search but still has a misfire idle. new plugs wires cleaned my cap and rotor, the internals in the diz are good i'm sure i rebulit it awhile ago, i still can't find out the misfire yet, imma do a compression test soon see where i'm at. Friend said might be a leaky head gasket cause i have white steam smoke coming out but i doubt it. soon as we ever get some good weather i'll take the hood and fenders off to paint em and post pics. oh and also installed my rear seat belts and put in oem integra floor mats. thanks for the comments.

here are latest pics, painted the fenders and bumper yellow, hood black, found the paint at schucks so i tried it out. i don't think it matches to bad.
