Default JDM B18c swap Crank position sensor?

hey you guys im new. i swaped a obd2 b18c into my 2000 teg and i have no ckp sensor so i was wondering if the usdm ck sensor would fit in the jdm b18c? any help would be great.

Mounting for the sensor is part of the USDM oil pump, but not the JDM... so you have no mounting stud (etc) for it.

I don't know if there's an alternate mounting method that avoids changing the oil pump.

OTOH, there *is* a solution that takes the CPS signal from the distributor and fools the ECU into believing all is just fine. It seems to work well..

The sensor's primary job appears to be to detect misfires - not as the sole source of information regarding crank position (that one's in the distributor).
