Default 1994 Civic DX.. Lifting my front end.. ?'s.. To fit Drag Slicks. How-To?

The car is a Strip/street car. Notice Strip before Street....
405hp
Caged
ECT...ECT...

VVV Info on the Car VVV

I went the extra mile / DOLLAR to get good drag suspension, so I got Strange Engineering Drag struts. I also went with the reccomended 10" Hypercoils they sell.

But with the perches adjusted UP as far as I can go..
(i.e. I am compressing the spring as it stands)

I still can fit my 24.5" slicks.. they touch the fender just sitting there.

I talked to James @ IPG Parts and he says they made a spacer to go between the strut tower and the strut about 3" long. As this would work... It would be a pain in the *** to remove everytime I wanted to put street wheels and tries on it and drive it..

I thought about some sort of spacer to go between the fork and the strut but IDK..

There has to be a better way to fix this.. I thought someone would make some sort of extended fork but I found nothing.

Any insight..? Any help or ideas would be appreciated..

BTW I searched and found nothing.. If you know of a link plz just post it or PM me.
Also I would rather not run wide fenders

Thanks
KidFrost

What is the spring rate on those springs? Almost sounds too soft.

I really dont think so... Although I could be wrong.. IDK

Anyway they are 400LB I believe.. The kid I bought them off wasnt sure and Hypercoils dont have part numbers on them...

If someone else running this suspension didnt tell me they had the same problem I would venture a guess that ur right but I just dont think even w. a higher spring rate they should be that close..

The problem is the shock body itself is shorter than stock, so it extended all the way up is still shorter than what stock would be. We had the same problem on an ek that has progress suspension. You need to go the spacer route and make sure you have plenty of threads to tighten the nuts on top of the shocktower safely. You could also trim the fenders, I personally had the same problem trying out a friends skunk2 pro-c setup and I still have a stock length shock on the front of my car bc of this. I don't want to trim my fenders and a wide front isn't in this years budget, racing is!
