I would like to know which repair manual everyone would recommend. I have a 99 Em1. Also, is there a program out there that has detailed diagrams or "breakdowns" for my car? I used to work on audi's and vw's and used etka7 for part numbers,diagrams and breakdowns, etc... anything similar?

Do you want a repair manual, or an exploded view of parts of your car?

If you want repair info (step-by-step diagnosis procedures, torque specs, etc), then you want the Helms service manual. Haynes and Chiltons manuals aren't nearly as informative.

If you want you want an exploded view of the parts for your car, with part numbers, then you want the Honda Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC). Unfortunately, the EPC is only available legally to license Honda parts distributors. A google search may give you more info on that. There are however, plenty of sites that sell genuine Honda parts, that show the exploded view of parts, as well as provide Honda part numbers. http://www.hondapartsunlimited.com/ http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/ Just to name a few.

I'll get it... I also got a copy of the honda epc for breakdowns, so I can order all the missing clips, etc. So now I can put my car together the RIGHT way.
