Painting the Car Yourself ??? anybody ever done this?
Just kicking the idea.. anyone ever done this before?
like using a spray can from paintscratch.com?
(of course sanded the surface 1st, then primer, then base coat, mid coat if necessary and Clear coat)..
I basically need the 2 doors re-painted and since this is my daily beater, I just can't see spending $2000 on a paint job..
any Pro/Cons? do you think the paint job will be ok?
how about painting the bumper yourself too?

Its been done before, I know someone on H-T painted their civic flat black like that, bumpers are much easier to paint. My best advice keep your work area clean of dust, use some gooe primer, and take it slow. Good Luck
if my car ever needed a paint job, i'd do it if i had time plenty of time and professional paint supplies. if you do it, show us some results.
