Default straight Pipe Question

Hey H-t. i recently got straight piped. (just took the can off) and now its just a straight through 2.5 inch pipe all the way through. can this cause me to warp the valve due to cold air coming in after i shut off the car?

And anyone behind you will be cussing your @$$ because of all the fumes and noxious gasses.

Sorry but I would never run a straight pipe on a street car, ever. IMHO it's just irresponsible any way you look at it.

Ill try to get a video of the car doing it. Im afraid i have slowly warped the valves just enough to let the combustion ignite while im engine breaking or something like that. Haha

Basically. Is there any truth to the myth that not having back preassure will cause valves to fail?

 i should have just put that as my OP

it could be possible if you have a giant pipe running to headers if you live in the arctic circle or something haha..

It would be fine, but it is bad for the atmosphere bypassing or ''deleting'' the catalytic converter, but who am I to judge.

you can hear it miss when i downshift.

i told a co worker at mcdonalds the problem i was having and because he went to auto diesel school in nashville he said that maybe i was floating valves due to carbon build up.. im a little skeptical of that.. but i plan to get some seafoam anyways.

what do you guys think?

ohh he also went on a BS rant and said that downshifting streches the timing belt and cause pre ignition creating pits on the top of the piston lowering compression.. i just couldnt wrap my head around all that bullshit. haha.
