Default What type of Gas

What type of gas do you guys fill up with when you go to the track?
Personaly I like Amoco or Chevron 93, but I have a freind who insists on filling up
w/ race gas @ the track. Not sure what he uses? So what do YOU use

93

High compression/boost guys like the race gas

Your friend is wasting his money if he's running a fairly stock setup

The old saying If it Feels Good Do It. Well same applies, Try using a mix of 114 Race gas, and 93 pump gas. Try 20% then mixing more. If the car is running better keep going til you dont feel a difference.

I stick to 100 octane Av Gas seems to work for me and is 1/3rd the cost of Race Gas and is easy to get.

i just use chevron pump gas premium. when i used 118 it didnt do **** for my car. i say screw that. seems that it helps very little on EFI motors vs carbed motors.

It has nothing to do with efi or carbs. If your car is high compression or boosted and tuned for it then race gas will help. Otherwise, it's not gonna do anything for you.
