Default h22a vtec solenoid problem?

heyy guys i have a ? about my JDM H22A vtec solenoid.. i was doing the wiring and seen that it has only one plug. my d16z6 has two plugs the gray one and a green one which is the oil perssure switch. Now where this green plug goes there is a blot that has been placed there it looks like thats how it came off the market not after market.. i was told that i had to replace this in order to get vtec to kick in but i want to be sure before i spend my money. i have done resurch and found a few cases like this but yeah still not sure so any help would be great...
thanks for looking

Found the answer! here it is. "You have a newer solenoid, it lacks the VTEC Oil Pressure sensor. You need to remove that bolt and insert a VTEC oil pressure sensor from CD Accord EX or other VTEC equipped engines"
