4040 Proportioning Valve?
Are there any other options? My problem is, Canadian Civic SiR's (same as U.S. Si) came with ABS, unlike your Si's. Thus, the P/V must be different on both models.
you can use one from a 92-5 Si or Del Sol Si or VTEC (cars with rear disc brakes)
but from the tests, and overall feeling the stock 30/30 feel much better then 40/40 (thats running GSR brakes all around)

You don't need to change porportioning valves!!!!! The porportioning valves on Honda's don't control front to rear brake bias, just FL to RR and FR to RL for safety reasons. If you call Honda and ask for the part numbers for a 96 CX porportioning valve and one for a 99 SI they are the same. Even though the SI has rear disks and the CX has rear drums.
You can do whatever you want and honestly it's one of thoes things that some people change "just in case" so do whatever you feel comfortable doing.

My point is that his 96 CX porp valve will be fine when doing a ITR brake conversion. But I would suggest doing the ITR M/C and Booster upgrade, because the larger ITR caliper will take more fluid.
