A good idea ???
It would be great for the sport if all the import events/ series get together and make a standard set of rules..... as in the heads up classes...... tire size/weight/ turbo/ power address.... I think the car counts in all classes whould go up if this happens and fans/ racers would see things clearly.......

that would be a great idea, but who knows if it will ever happen... and here's my 2 cents, dont flame me too hard lol
Spfwd 72mm max, a2a, 24.5, 2400lbs (67mm car gets a 100lb break)
true street 62mm, a2a, 24.5, 2400lbs
no outlaw class except for the $10k shootouts (which is the way it was supposed to be in the first place I thought)
Miller just put up a 9.1x w/ 67mm and others are running low 9's as well... there's really no point in having 3 classes all running with in tenths of each other... it just spreads the classes out too thin imo...

Class rules are already really close in IFO, ogs, Mir, and NSCRA races.
Take your car Paul. You fit in sfwd at IFO, ogs, and Mir. NSCRA you are outlaw because of turbo size. Seems like rules are close enough to accommodate your car as is.
About car count, I don't think it's rules.

And 92redhatch. The exhaust rule isn't a big deal.. My car I covered the holes.. Sounds weird but my brothers car has 2 downpipes... 1 for TS and one for the street that goes out the hood
Damn after all this time of wanting this to be seriously discussed and I just bought a 67mm turbo! lol. I would love to see a 62mm turbo class for real street cars!

Another one of these threads?
I know Jason Miller is trying to do this with his import events, and I applaud him for that.
OGS events are for the NE and I'm not sure he wants to adopt someone else's rules since they have been in the game for so long...if you are going to travel 1300 miles from wherever to make OGS events, then like someone else said, there are classes for you to fit into, no problem, same with IFO...Cliff from what i hear will fit you into to SOMETHING which is awesome.

what about cams? intake manifolds? engine size? The turbo is only 1 part of the whole equation.
Look, I have no intentions on running true street. I jsut want to show people what can be done and that the parts are out there to do almost anything you can imagine.
