I was at a stoplight this afternoon with the top down, and an angry hornet or wasp came flying into my private space.

I had seen it coming from a while back, but I didn't want it to know I was aware of it so I looked away. It was too late to put the top up.

It had obviously smelled or otherwise sensed my fear and came right into the car buzzing around my head. The stop light I was at was packed, so I couldn't run off.

At this point the anxiety was too much to bear and I broke down into tears.

How do you guys handle a bee when you have your tops down?

Real talk, the only thing I'm afraid of is bees/wasps. I laugh in the face of any other danger. I've had wasps/bees fly into my cabin before and I've had the urge to flee the scene...no matter what the consequence...even if it entails jumping out of a moving car at 50mph.

funny thing, I read this yesterday, then on my way home from work a wasp flew right in my passenger window. he buzzed around the passenger side for a second then flew back out. I was about to smack him back outside, but he bounced
