Default Buddy Club Spec 2 with Cat Converter

i'm getting a buddy club spec 2 exhaust for my 99 DC4 and i'm wondering if anyone has tired an aftermarket hi-flow cat converter or a stock cat converter with their spec 2 exhaust? aftermarket cat converter as in OBX or Magnaflow. but i know a main concern would be the cat converter length might be too short which would hit the gas tank?

Buddy Club Spec II = Pantie Dropper

Not sure that I understand your question. Are you asking if the length of the cat converter will effect wether the system will hit the gas tank or not?

If that is in fact your question, I didnt know it was possible for the exhaust system to hit the gas tank based on the length of the cat converter.

Am I missing something really obvious here?

i'm have concerns that the cat converter will be too short.
also i've looked all over the place and couldn't find the piping diameter of the exhaust.

I'm running a BC Spec 2 with a JDM length T1R racing converter. The spec 2's b-pipe is longer than a stock USDM b-pipe, thus you'll need a shorter cat. But with the tri-Y header you have, which looks to run longer than a stock manifold, I'm not too sure how short. IMO, I would get an adjustable testpipe.

If the Skunk2 b-pipe is USDM length, then you need a USDM length testpipe (18"). I believe the KiddRacing header is a normal length header (same length as stock)
