Default Squeaking front suspension

Had them swapped out with a member on the boards. My original ones actually were cheap coilovers. I have H&R springs and KYB struts.

First 3 months had no squeaking but now its back to that same problem and I again have camber wear on my front tires which are less than 1 year old and have less than 10K. LAME.

Any help on what can be the problem? I have read a bushing on the Front Control arm or a bushing on the shock assembly.

Please help...

If it squeeks on a turn, control arm.
If it squeeks on a bump, susp.

Have someone turn the wheel while you pinpoint the bushing or problem.

My old OEM upper control arm bushings squeaked crazy loud over bumps. Just push down on the front of the car and you'll hear it if it's that. Replaced them with cheap OEM replacement arms off eBay, squeaked again in less than a year and the ball joints were crap. Sucked it up and got brand new OEM upper arms for around $95/side and haven't had a problem since. New OEM bushings and ball joints - works great.

As for the tire wear - GET IT ALIGNED!!!

Thank you Patrick! I don't hear any squeak when I push down. Struts are supposed to be fairly new.

If I get the OEM upper arms for both sides, do they come with the OEM bushings and ball joints?

I am not a mechanic but will learn to do it myself.

Love it! Thank you sir... Will have to hit up http://www.hondapartsunlimited.com

I believe I can get them there hopefully for a decent price. Do you have a part number for the assembly?

negative, you're looking at the actual upright knuckle. You need the upper arms, which are about $95/side.

Ohh.. Got it. I found the correct part. Its priced around that number. There are two different part numbers for the same part on each side... Will have to confirm this.

One's a left and one's a right. It only shows it once on the diagram. You need one of each part number if you're replacing both UCA's.

The squeaking on mine ended up being because of lower ball joints. I had this happen to two cars, actually. A 99 Si and a 00 DX. If you lift the car up on a lift and the squeaking stops, it's most likely the lower ball joints. The squeaking only occurred on my cars when they were on the ground and the lower ball joints are loaded up.

Try putting a tiny little pin hole in your ball joint boot. Spray some grease or WD-40 in there. If the squeak goes away temporarily, you've isolated the issue. Obviously...you should have a pretty strong hunch that the ball joints are the blame before you put a hole in the boot, however.

When my lower ball joints went bad, they would make a popping sound when turning the steering wheel with the car stopped. Both sides did it at different times on my car, new LBJ's fixed that right up.

Mine were just creaking/squeaking REALLY loud over bumps and while turning the wheel. Car sounded like a very used mattress. I got new LBJs from Honda for like $30 each. It's mint now.

30 bucks? Were those used? Great way to compare it to a used mattress. That is how mine is exactly! LOL.

I got a question along these lines.
I just bought a 01' Acura integra and it is lowered. if you are not siting in the car and turn the whell you hear absolutly nothing but when you are sitting in the car and turn the wheel you hear squeaking and scratching coming from the front drivers side wheel area. the noise sounds kind of like something rubbing together but making a loud scratching noise. Again this noise only happens when you're sitting in the car. Think it might be something to do with when and how the lowering job was done, or something else? I read all the other posts and they sound kin of similar but it also sounds like they were having the problem regardless if you are in the car or not, any thoughts? Thank you
